Roles and who can see what

Quantitio has five roles. Most people are Members. A few carry staff or leadership access. Access works by rank: a higher role can do everything a lower one can, and a little more.

The five roles

  • Member: takes their own reflection and sees their own dashboard and resources. Counts in the whole-church view.
  • Community group leader: a member who also leads a group. Same access as a member, and counted in the congregation.
  • Staff: can open the admin console to see the Overview and Insights, but cannot manage members or settings.
  • Admin: the full church admin. Invites and manages members, edits branding and questions, and handles billing and integrations.
  • Super-user: a Quantitio office account. Only a super-user can change someone's role.

Who sees the admin console

Staff and above see the admin console. Members and community group leaders do not see it at all; a group leader is simply a congregant who also leads, and that carries no admin access.

Who can change roles

When you set up, an admin can invite one person as a second admin, your activation owner. Changing an existing person's role is reserved for a Quantitio super-user. It is a deliberate safeguard so a church can never accidentally strand itself without an admin. If you need a role changed, email support and we will take care of it.

No one sees individual answers

Roles are about who can sign in and manage the space, never about reading someone's reflection. Not even an admin or a Quantitio super-user can see one member's answers.
